Judge me for correcting my name on the slide after they presented my work
I built the deck. Twelve nights. My lead presented it to the client with their name in the footer on every slide. After the call I emailed the client, the lead, and our director a one-line note: 'For the record, I authored slides 3–18. Happy to walk through the model.' I did not use the word stolen.
The lead told HR I 'undermined the room.' The client asked me to join the next call. I am now on a performance plan for 'communication tone.'
Their side
